A TikTok showing Chinese students speaking isiZulu at an indoor gathering in China has about 1 million views. Creator @nkosinathishazi94 posted the 31 second clip on 2 November, with the on-screen line "They're learning isiZulu in China."
The room looks like a conference or informal event, and the students smile and talk to the camera in isiZulu. Briefly News covered the clip on 3 November. South Africans in the comments traded pride jokes, Temu punchlines and surprise at how clear the accent sounds. We could not independently confirm which school or programme the group belongs to.
