A car-buying agent's TikTok of a live WesBank online auction for a 2021 Suzuki Swift, won at R97,000, has about 101,000 views. Watch it and see what Mzansi is saying.

A car-buying agent took TikTok followers inside a live WesBank online auction, and the last two minutes are a proper nail-biter. @auctionhubza posted the clip on 23 October and it has about 101,000 views.
The car is a 2021 Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL. The listing on screen shows a starting bid of R70,000, a retail price of R162,600, an odometer reading of 131,865 km, a cracked windscreen and spraywork, and it is sold as is. Late bids from a rival keep pushing the countdown back up, until the screen finally reads "WON" at R97,000.
On-screen text says the account is not an auction itself and helps people get cars at real auctions for a fee. We couldn't confirm what that fee is. Several commenters point out that VAT, fees, roadworthy and registration would push the final cost above R97,000.
