DA on 61% in Cape Town, beating the polls. PA closes in on ANC in the Western Cape
Early results put the DA on about 61% to 63% in Cape Town, above its 58% in 2021, and eNCA projects it will keep the city. In the wider Western Cape, the Patriotic Alliance is close behind the ANC.

eNCA's election projection, based on 9.6% of votes counted by 07:00, also has the DA retaining control of the city (eNCA).
